We’re here for all stages of your pet’s life. It’s pretty exciting to welcome a new member to the family, but don’t forget about their health care needs. Whether it’s a new puppy or an older rescue cat or something in between, getting an overall health baseline from the start allows you to track their health for years to come. As your pet ages, our examinations will change too. News pets have different needs than some of our older furry family members.
Annual Pet Exams help you stay on top of your pet’s health and wellness.
Annual exams are an important part of your pet’s ongoing care. During these appointments, we’ll perform a full nose-to-tail exam while checking eyes, nose, ears, and skin. These appointments allow us to create a baseline of your pet’s health, so we’ll know when anything changes. Over time, we’ll make sure your pet’s healthcare and overall needs are being met as they age and go through lifestyle changes.
These appointments also allow us to go over anything you’ve noticed at home that may pertain to your pet’s health. We can discuss everything from diet and exercise to behavioral issues or anything else you may be wondering about.
We’ll also work to make sure that your pet is staying up-to-date on vaccines, preventive medicine, and any other supplements they may need to live life to the fullest.
We typically recommend annual exams for dogs under the age of seven and semi-annual exams for senior pets.
